The Hobo Dance - May 2010
May 15, 2010 - Caller Tom Strickland and Cuer Sue Powell
This was a Super-Fantastic dance, with caller Tom Strickland and cuer Sue Powell, together, Tom and Sue brought in a very large dance, 84 total, 54 were guests and 34 were members. Eight clubs were represented. The Johnny Appleseeds, Orbiting Squares, and Hi-Timers, each stole our H&C Banner. Tom maintained seven squares most of the night, and about half of those at the dance were doing round dancing to Sue’s cuing. The fast pace of both squares and rounds resulted in a high excitement, fun dance for all. There were several Class “A’ hobos dressed in Hobo attire.

There were three clubs doing banner activity this night, Appleseeds Squares, Hi Timers, and Orbiting Squares each stole a Hicks and Chicks banner.
